Find your Election Day polling place. This site will be assigned to you based on your address. You will vote here on Election Day. During early voting you may vote at any location within your county.
How do I know if I’m registered to vote? Use the NC Board of Elections voter search to verify your voter registration information (name address, party affiliation, etc.) With this simple tool, you can learn if you are registered to vote at your current address. You can also find your polling place, your districts and your sample ballot.
You may apply to register to vote online or by mail. Complete an application for new voter registration or to update your address or party affiliation.
Voters will be asked to show photo ID when voting in North Carolina. For most voters, they will simply show their driver’s license, but there are many other acceptable photo IDs. Any North Carolina registered voter may request, receive, and vote a mail-in absentee ballot where absentee voting is permitted. Registered voters in North Carolina must request an absentee ballot with an official NC Absentee Ballot Request Form. There are two ways to access and submit the form: Online or on paper.
